Vocabulary 3

1) Caprice n.- a sudden, unpredictable change, as of one's mind or the weather.
The pregnant lady’s caprices had making her happy difficult


2) Aberration n.- the act of departing from the right, normal, or usual course.
A violent aberration had taken place in the prison.
 
3) Zealously adv. -devoted, or diligent.
The girl zealously ate all of the carrots in the garden.


4) Fecund adj. producing or capable of producing offspring.
The fecund rabbit had 500 little bunnies running around.
 
5) Callous adj. made hard; hardened.
The mans callous beliefs about God made him a little bit crazy.


6) Compulsory adj. required; mandatory
English is a compulsory part of high school if you want to graduate. 


7) Manifest adj. readily perceived by the eye or the understanding


8) Bequeath v. to dispose of (personal property, especially money) by last will
The old lady bequeathed her diamond necklace to her granddaughter. 


9) Skirted v. to avoid, go around the edge of, or keep distant from
10) Ambivalence n. uncertainty or fluctuation, especially when caused byinability to make a choice or by a simultaneous desire tosay or do two opposite or conflicting things.
11) Ebbing n. the flowing back of the tide as the water returns to the sea
12) Ineffable adj. incapable of being expressed or described in words;inexpressible
